Bob Mattox

Bob Mattox, age 67 of Wirtz passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was born April 12, 1958, a son of the late Earley and Frances Mattox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bob Andre Mattox Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Darlene Harper; brothers, Joe E. Mattox Sr., George William Mattox, Jim Andrew Mattox, Frankie Lawrence Mattox and Billy Russell Mattox. Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Harper Mattox; sons, Miguel Mattox and Darrius Mattox (Brittany); grandchildren, D’Andre, Sincere and Patience Mattox; brothers and sisters, Paul Mattox (Lillie), Donnie Mattox (Freda), Bobby Mattox, Frances Clayborne and Debra Hopkins (Richard); sisters-in-law, Joan Mattox and Ethel Mattox; numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
