Bobby Eugene Perdue, age 61 of Union Hall died Friday, February 8, 2008 at his home.
He was born July 13, 1946 a son of the late James “Hank” Perdue and Ethel Altice Perdue. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James “Eddie” Perdue.
Bobby is survived by his fiancé, Amber Gail Hodges who had been his companion for 16 years; two daughters and one son-in-law, Samantha Perdue of the home, Tiffany and Lewis Hodges; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Pam Perdue, Eddie and Carolyn Perdue; stepson, Timmy Songer; brother and sister-in-law, Dickie and Brenda Perdue; sister and brother-in-law, Twyla and Robert McGurty; grandsons, James Hodges and Hunter Perdue; granddaughters, Kimberly Perdue, Haley Perdue and Kirsten Perdue; special friends, Barry and Sharon Dudley; special aunt, Gertrude Arrington; special uncle, Howard Perdue; sister-in-law, Debra Lynch; brothers-in-law, Lynn Songer and Jeffery Songer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 4 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2008 with Rev. James H. Steele and Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. until service time at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
