Bobby Joe LaFon, age 62 of Sandy Level died Saturday, September 1, 2007.
He was born May 16, 1945 a son of the late Lawrence and Clusty LaFon. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and retired from Prince William County Service Authority in Northern Virginia.
Surviving are his loving wife of forty-two years, Judy C. LaFon; his son, Michael B. LaFon; grandson, Joshuah LaFon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Forrest Byrum, Margaret Grimm, Linda Bryant, Nancy and Charles Clyburn; a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 with Pastor Travis Gore officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Memorial Gardens in Sandy Level.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia.
