Bobby Lee Overfelt

Bobby Lee Overfelt, age 74 of Rocky Mount died Friday, January 22, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Marie Overfelt; one son, Dr. Michael Overfelt and wife Heidi; three daughters, Michelle Branin and husband Jamie, Donna Morse and husband Dr. Jeremy, Bobbi Overfelt and fiancé Russ Sprinkel; grandchildren, Jason Branin and wife Heather, Jared Branin and fiancé Shari, Tara Branin, Ian Branin, Tyler Overfelt, Emily Overfelt, Florian Overfelt, Nicole Overfelt, Jessica Sprinkel, Cody Morse; special nephew, Donnie Meeks; sisters, Shirley James and husband Paul, Mary Mullins; brother-in-law, James J. Meeks; sisters-in-law, Gloria Clifft, Cynthia Senz and husband Dr. Ronald, Lorraine and Dr. Richard Simpson; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Chaplain Kathy Hull officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday with his family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral and Cremation Service, Rocky Mount.
