Bobby Lee Tatum

Bobby Lee Tatum of Wirtz, Va. passed away Saturday March 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father Dewey, his mother and step-father Mary Tatum Weatherford and Dudley, his sister Lois Glass and a special brother-in-law Bobbie Slayton. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley; his son, Lynn Tatum (Brenda); his daughter, Wanda Cundiff (Eddie); and two loving grandchildren, Ashley Tatum and Jeremy Cundiff. Bob was a certified welder and helped build several race cars during his early years. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday March 28, 2014 at Cedar Lawn Burial Park with Pastor Doug Sasser officiating. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Burnt Chimney United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff of 8MTN MSICU at Carillon Roanoke Memorial Hospital and especially RN Beth Seldomridge for the loving care and support she showed Bob during his final days.
