Brenda Ann Lynskey

Brenda Ann Lynskey, age 72 of Rocky Mount passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022. She was born March 3, 1950 a daughter of the late Roy Curtis Deaton and Evelyn Wall Deaton. Brenda worked at Hollins College for 20 years and Walmart for 11 years. Surviving to cherish her memory are husband, Paul Nelson Lynskey; sons, James Curtis Lynskey and wife Beth, Nelson Lewis (Bubba) Lynskey and wife Angelica; daughter, Angela Marie Karr and husband Nicky; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Roy Gene Deaton of North Carolina. Memorial services will be held at First Wesleyan Church (Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA) 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022 with Rev. Ricardo Rodriguez and Pastor Brian Gordon officiating. Her family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
