Brian Edmund "Griz" Rust

Brian Edmund “Griz” Rust, age 72 of Moneta and formerly of Loudoun County passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024. He was born August 1, 1951 a son of the late Lee Foley and Mary Snoots Rust. Surviving are his wife, Genie Rust; brothers, Michael Rust and Thomas Rust (Marilyn); niece, Mary Margaret; nephews, Adam and Nathan; and brother-in-law, Chase Schneider. Brian loved the outdoors including golfing, boating and his visits to Florida. He was a successful businessman in his family business and also worked in real estate sales. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount - Smith Mountain Lake.
