Bruce Edwin Chittum

Bruce Edwin Chittum, 54 of Ferrum passed away Friday, August 27, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dina Marie Chittum; son, Benjamin Edwin Chittum; mother, Mildred Chittum; brother, Tommy Chittum. Surviving are his father, Joseph Chittum; sister, Sharon Harmon (Charlie); daughter and son-in-law, Christy Marie Bailey and husband, Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob Chittum and wife Julie, Jason Chittum and wife, Melissa; eight grandchildren, Stirling, Caleb, Keith, Clayton, Evelyn, William, Nathaniel and Luke. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 from Flora Funeral Chapel with Elder Billy Boone officiating. Interment will follow in Chittum family cemetery. His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Jason and Melissa Chittum, 10 Bitty Hill Lane, Ferrum, VA
