Bryant Keith Carter, age 41 of Collinsville died Tuesday, November 3, 2015. He was born November 1, 1974 in Rocky Mount, Virginia to Kennith G. Carter, Sr. and Erma Webb Carter. Bryant attended Fieldale Collinsville High School in Collinsville, Virginia. He married his soulmate of 20 years, Kristi Rochelle Ford, a registered nurse in September 2013. Bryant was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, friend and dedicated business entrepreneur who dedicated his life to helping and serving the community. He was a long time member of Fieldale Collinsville Volunteer Rescue Squad as an Emergency Medical Technician. He was a proud firefighter of Fieldale Volunteer Fire Department. He was the cofounder and owner of Providence Emergency Medical Transport, LLC in Martinsville, VA. He was also owner of One Stop Flooring in Martinsville and co-owner of Ezee In Mart, Inc in Collinsville. Bryant loved hunting, fishing, football and Nascar. He loved Davie Allison and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He was also an avid Cowboys fan. Bryant was looked up to by many and was so proud of being of being referred to as “dad” by those he took under his wings. Survived by spouse, Kristi Rochelle Ford of Collinsville; parents, Kennith G. Carter and Erma W. Carter of Collinsville; siblings, Daphne C. Arseneault of Virginia Beach, Sherry C. Crawford of Jacksonville, Florida and Kennith G. Carter, Jr of Collinsville; nephews, Brandon Crawford, Dustin Arseneault, Dylan Crawford and Marshall Carter; nieces, Michelle Arseneault, Brittany Carter and Lauren Carter; great nephew, John King, Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Junior and Virginia Webb of Callaway, Virginia, Millard and Ethel Carter of Ferrum, Virginia; aunts: Dorothy Carter of Ferrum, Virginia, Linda Webb of Callaway, Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 with Mr. Chad Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Sloan Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Kennith and Erma Carter, 40 Ferndale Court, Collinsville, Va.
