B.T. Thompson

B.T. Thompson went to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, September 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.T. and Lera Thompson and brother, Winfred Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Millie Thompson, daughters Phyllis Crum and her husband Edward Crum, and Brenda Johnson; His grandchildren, Michael Crum, Allison Crum, Trevor Johnson, and Sierra Johnson, brother, Bobby Thompson and his wife Glenda; sisters, Christine Ramsey and her husband T.C., Loraine Pagans and her husband Wayne, and Joyce Bernard and her husband Harold; sister- in- law Shirley Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews. B.T. enjoyed fishing at Cape Hatteras, hiking, cruising, and traveling the United States with his many close friends and family. Visitation will be held at Flora Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and at other times at the family home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Boones Mill Baptist Church with Rev. James Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
