Burbie Jamison McBride, age 76 of Boones Mill, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Marshall and Evie Sloan Jamison; and brother, Stuart Lee Jamison.
Mrs. McBride is survived by her husband, Herbert McBride; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Teresa McBride; grandchildren, Taylor Ann (who was her best buddy and enjoyed cooking together) and Sydney Ava McBride; sisters, Lorraine Guilliams and husband Billy, Hazel Harman and husband Harry; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Robert Miller officiating.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
