Calvin R.L. Cundiff

Calvin R.L. Cundiff “Buzz”, age 68 of Rocky Mount passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 31, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Benjamin Lee Cundiff and Virginia Ware Cundiff. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Kathy; three sons, Stacy and Crystal Cundiff, Matthew Cundiff and Kelli Boothe, Brandon Cundiff and Kristie Peters; three sisters, Myrtle Cundiff, Regenna Scott (Gina), Norma Foster (Nubbin); one grandson, Evan Cundiff; several other family too numerous to list. Buzz was a hard-working man beginning at age 8 when he started working as a paperboy. He then went to work at Franklin County High School as a Custodian. He loved his job at FCHS and never took a sick day. Buzz also loved NASCAR racing and Duke. He had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone in need. His family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
