Calvin Neil Smith

Calvin Neil Smith, age 41 went to fish on the Big Pond Wednesday, June 6, 2012. He was born May 11, 1971. Neil was passionate about many things, but none any more than hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. Surviving are his parents, Bonnie and Calvin Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Jeff Holloway; two treasured nephews, Cory and Cole Holloway; aunts, Jennie Hodges, Ann Hodges and Cookie Lawson; a secret pal; two fishing buddies, Mike Prater and Mark Perdue. Neil was loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Hodges-Lynch Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the graveside service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
