Cari Davis Plyler, age 46 of Union Hall died Saturday, October 24, 2015. Cari was born June 4, 1969, in Kennesaw Georgia to William C. Davis and Carolyn R. Davis. She was a devoted mother, wife, and daughter. Cari graduated from Meredith College with a degree in Interior Design, and continued her passion with her own design company, Clayborne Design Consultants, based at Smith Mountain Lake. Cari was a very creative and talented Designer and Realtor, but chose to devote herself as a full-time wife to Erik, and mother to her beloved son Davis. Cari is survived by her loving husband Erik; son Davis; parents Bill and Carolyn Davis; special aunt Loretta Jacobson; father and mother in law E. Derrick and Sheila Plyler; sister and brother in law in law Melissa and C.E. Hodges; and numerous other loving and caring family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Christ Community Church, Penhook, VA, followed by a private burial.
