Carl George Anderson

Carl George Anderson, age 78 of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Anderson; and one son, Michael George Anderson. He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Judith Anderson; two sons, Eric (Heather) Anderson, Robert (Tiffanee) Anderson; grandchildren, Paige Anderson, Caleb Anderson and William Campbell; brothers, John Anderson, Paul (Delphine) Anderson; one aunt, Thelma Reilly; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was a member of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church Building Fund or curepsp.org. Memorial services have been rescheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce D. Tuttle officiating. Inurnment will take place 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Winchester, Va. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church.
