Carl Fredrick “Freddy” Bousman, Jr. age 46 of Penhook, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2007.
Freddy lived in Penhook where he spent his entire life farming. He will always be remembered as a hard working man whom loved and cherished his family. His laughter and caring personality will be greatly missed but remembered and held close in the hearts of those whom knew and loved him.
He was born September 9, 1960 to Carl and Marie M. Bousman. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife Rhonda Adkins Bousman; son Dwayne Melvin Bousman; stepsons Jason William Rigney and wife Christie, Jody Wade Anderson; sisters Susan Bousman Sanders and husband David, Carla Bousman Fields and husband Keith; mother-in-law Lois K. Adkins; and best friend Roxie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Snow Creek Rescue Squad, c/o Ruby Oakes, 8235 Snow Creek Rd., Penhook, VA 24137.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from the family cemetery at the home place in Penhook. Minister Ted Clifton will be officiating.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday with his family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
