Carl Huston Haas, Sr.

Carl Huston Haas, Sr. age 65 of Chatham passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ella Mae Haas; granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Haas; sister, Kathy Haas. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa who will be missed dearly. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judy Haas; sons, Carl Haas, Jr., James Haas, and Jay Haas and wife Cathy; daughter, Kristy Haas Shelton; grandchildren, Kamryn Shelton, and Suvata Haas; brothers, Don, and Eric. Carl retired after 43 years with Goodyear Tire Plant of Danville. He was a member of Nor-Dan Church of Christ of Danville. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at The Whorley Family Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Melton officiating. His family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
