Carol Scruggs Hudson, age 45 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, July 29, 2007.
She was born June 28, 1962 a daughter of the late Cecil and Gloria Scruggs. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Gert Hudson; and her maternal grandmother, Gertrude Mattox.
Surviving are her husband, Edward Hudson; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Lucinda Scruggs; sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie Mitchell, Kaye and Leon Mulis; nieces and nephews, Chris Mitchell, Kasey Cooper Helms, Trey Cooper and Tori Scruggs; aunts and uncles, Bobby and Oletha Scruggs, Jesse and Beulah Scruggs, Richard and Ruth Scruggs, R. J. and Sandra Scruggs; Nadene and Sherman Truman; Claudine Brown, Pat Keys, Linda and Junior Tosh, Larry & Linda Mattox, Jimmy and Wanda Mattox, Eldean Mattox; special friends, Rosa Perkins and Billy Davis; numerous cousins; her extended family and special friends that are too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and other times at the home of Jeff and Lucinda Scruggs, 675 Pell Avenue, Rocky Mount.
