Carolyn Ferguson Hodges

Carolyn Ferguson Hodges, age 83 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, May 30, 2024. She was born March 30, 1941 a daughter of the late Walter and Louemma Ferguson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cline Hodges; grandson, Carson Cline Hodges; several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Mark Hodges (Ruth), Cathy Wray (Kevin), Coy Hodges (DeeDee); grandchildren, Kelsey Durham (Jon), Kayla Wray, Hunter Wray (Mariah), Kacie Hodges, and Samatha Janney; great-grandchildren, Ava Crowe, Alexis Crowe, Cody Durham and Knox Wray; sisters, Geneva Hodges and Shirley Stie (Joe); brother, Howard Ferguson (Geraldine); sister-in-law, Alma Kay Dillon; brother-in-law George (Pug) Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Hodges loved her family and was anticipating a new great-grandchild with happiness, Krew Neyland. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024 with Pastor Randy Sawyers and Associate Pastor Richard Setliff officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery (Ashpone Tavern Road). Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Coy Hodges, 3259 Doe Run Road, Rocky Mount.
