Carolyn Sue Radford

Carolyn Sue Radford, age 76 of Ferrum, Virginia went home to be the Lord on Tuesday, December 24th, 2019. She was born on September 20, 1943 in Callaway, Virginia. She is survived by her three loving children, Rickey Wayne Radford of Ferrum, Lecia And Randy Hammock of Chatham, & Joey and Tammy Radford of Ferrum. Carolyn was blessed with 16 grandchildren; Brittany Smith, Seth and Jordan Smith, Sterling and Ashley Smith, Erica and Adam Fry, Daniel Smith, Ryan and Emily Smith, Ashley Hodges and William Weaver, Chloe Hammock, Hope Smith, Callie Hammock and Conner Radford; as well as six great-grandchildren: Gabriel Smith, Ella Smith, Anniston Fry, Paisley Smith, Braven Smith,  and another on the way. Carolyn always held her best friend, Madeline and Woody Jones, as well as her cat Sunshine very close to her heart. Carolyn is proceeded in death by her husband Tommy Radford, her father Everett Mountcastle and her very special mother, Meadieth Evelyn Mountcastle, along with many close family members and friends. Carolyn was a kind woman who welcomed everyone into her home with loving arms, and made sure you left with a snack. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
