Caryll Ann Renick, age 79 of Callaway, VA passed away at her home on Friday, March 16, 2012. She was born on December 7, 1932 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She was predeceased by husbands, Patrick Joseph Cox of Buffalo, NY and Charles “Duck” Renick of Callaway; and son, Kevin Cox.
She is survived by three sons, Brian, Shaun and Barry; four daughters-in-law; and eight grandchildren, all of whom are saddened by loss but grateful to be a part of Caryll’s legacy of love. Caryll graduated from Loretta Academy in Niagara Falls with a nursing degree. She cared for patients for more than 40 years as an RN and pioneered home health care in Franklin County. Viewing and family visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Home in Rocky Mount, with a memorial service to follow at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Franklin Memorial Hospital are encouraged.
