Catherine Rigney Cannaday Cundiff

Catherine Rigney Cannaday Cundiff, age 69, of Rocky Mount, Va. went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2009. She was born May 2, 1940 in Smyth Co. but lived most of her life in Franklin Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Bill and Kathleen Fielder Hauslee, a son-in-law Dennis Pagans, stepson Perry Cundiff Jr., and great granddaughter Allanna Belle Pagans. She leaves behind a devoted and loving husband Perry Cundiff Sr., sons, Danny Rigney and wife Cathy of Stuart, Ronald Rigney and children Christy, Ronald Jr. and Johnathon of Henry, Lynwood Cannaday of Ferrum, daughters, Theresa Bailey and granddaughter Jessica of Rocky Mount, Cheryl Pagans and grandsons Travis and C.W. and great granddaughter Madison, of Rocky Mount, sisters Patsy and husband James Robertson and children of Rocky Mount, Ethel Hall and children of Stanleytown, Juanita and Tim Hendrick and children of Spartenburg, SC. brother Bobby Haulsee and children of Ferrum. Very special sister-in-law Bonnie Williams of Mount Pleasant, Roanoke. Very special friends Jerri Young of Rocky Mount, Lynwood and Mary Cannaday of Ferrum, the Fielder family of Wythe Co. and the Haulsee family of Smyth Co. Many thanks to Lewis Gale Hospital staff and Dr. Vandana Karri. In lieu of flowers contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society, Roanoke Chapter, 3723-B Franklin Rd. Roanoke. Funeral service will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
