Catherine Coleman Frith, age 96 of Rocky Mount, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 11, 2007.
Mrs. Frith was the last surviving child of Samuel and Fannie Elba Whelchel Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; brothers, James Coleman, Mark Coleman and Ben Coleman; sisters, Tommi Shelor, Mary Overby, Julia Redmond and Betty Stump.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Penny Frith; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Johnny Parcell; grandchildren, Sara and Kevin Weterrings, Todd and Penny Parcell, Debra Parcell, Cecil and Kyla Frith, Susie Read, Younie and Peter Joo; seven great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; brother-in-law, Clarence Stump; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted from High Street Cemetery 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Robert Edwards officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, 35 N. Main Street, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Judy and Johnny Parcell, 1306 Strawfield Circle, Rocky Mount, Va.
