Cecil C. Prillaman, age 83 of Callaway died Friday, April 24, 2009.
He was born June 16, 1925 son of the late Bernard and Essie Prillaman. He was also preceded in death by his son, Tommy; an infant daughter; and sister, Edith Lynch.
Mr. Prillaman was a lifelong farmer, school bus driver, and was employed by and retired from Branch and Associates and G.J. Hopkins. He was a member and trustee of Piedmont Presbyterian Church and a founding member of the Callaway Vol. Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Bevelyne; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Billy Mullins, Betsy Gail and Dale Stanley; granddaughters and spouses, Angela and Joey Wright, Amy and Scott Doty, Robin and Rob Morris, Sarah Beth and John Milko; grandson, Kevin Burroughs; great-grandson, Will Wright; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Milko; and nephew, Mike Lynch and wife Brenda.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. David Codington and Jack Milliron officiating. Interment will follow in Callaway Community Cemetery.

His family will be receiving friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
