Charles William Meadows

Charles William Meadows, age 82 of Bassett died Monday, May 20, 2024. He was born June 3, 1941 to the late B.G. and Edna Meadows. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Geneva Frances Meadows. Surviving are his children, Ferlin Meadows (Mary) of Callaway, VA, Geneva Karen Mullins (Jody) of Richlands, VA, Faron Ray Meadows of Callaway, VA, Patricia Renia Sloan of Bassett, Ricky Allen Meadows (Tuesday) of Burnt Chimney, VA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Earnest Lee Meadows (Dollie) of Jewell Ridge, VA and Shields Leonard Meadows (Daisy) of Jewell Ridge, VA; and sisters, Wanda Sue Clifton (Leland) of Wardell, VA, Wilma Jean Mitchell of Jewell Ridge, VA. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Services and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
