Charles Otis Sigmon

Charles Otis Sigmon, Sr., age 54 of Henry and formerly of Callaway went to be with his loved ones after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eldridge and Wilma Sigmon, and Minnie Martin; and father, Perry Otis Sigmon. Surviving are his son, Charles Otis Sigmon, Jr.; grandson, Tyler Sigmon; mother, Elizabeth Sigmon; sister, Darlene (Butch) Hunt; brother, Rodney (Kaye) Sigmon; girlfriend, Donna Stone, children and grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends at 40 West Food Fare. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Friday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating and Jason Sigmon with remarks. Interment will follow in the Guilliams – Sigmon Family Cemetery, Callaway. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, 390 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
