Charles Joseph Stiles

Charles J. Stiles, age 56 of Rocky Mount, VA died at home in the arms of his wife, on March 5, 2009. Charles, known as Charlie to those who knew and loved him, could often be found in his garage ready to talk “racing”. He had a passion for race car parts and building stock cars. Charlie leaves behind his wife and adoring fan Shirley, who has been blessed to have shared a life with him for 36 years, his eldest son, Joshua Stiles, who resides in Florida, his youngest son Seth Stiles, daughter-in-law, Tara, and granddaughter Saige who live in Las Vegas, NV, an adoring mother-in-law, (Ma) Barbara Fontaine of Florida, and a brother and his wife, Bill and Marilyn Titone in CT. Charlie lost his battle with cancer and the family would like to thank the Carilion Hospice Team for their support during a very difficult time. Charlie’s wife and sons have been blessed by the support of good friends throughout Rocky Mount and FCHS “family” for helping them cope with their loss. The family will be celebrating the life of Charlie on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at their home in Rocky Mount, VA from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount. 540-483-3835
