Charlie Bernard Lynch

Charlie Bernard Lynch, age 89 of Glade Hill passed away Monday, December 30, 2013. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and served in the CCC Camps. Surviving are his wife Goldie Hodges Lynch; sons, Charlie Eugene Lynch, Sr., Thomas Junior Lynch and Roger L. Lynch; daughters, Joyce Marie Ellis, Donna Parker; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Lynch; sisters, Virginia Furrow, Bessie Perdue; half- sister, Evelyn Pagans. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
