Charlie Milton Perdue

Charlie Milton Perdue, age 89 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, May 28, 2011. He was born May 30, 1921 and was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Bell Dudley Perdue; father, William Thomas Perdue; mother, Claudy Bell Perdue; five brothers, Calvin, Dick, Bill, Frank Ed and Roy Perdue; and two sisters, May Carter and Vocie Johnson. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Brady M. Perdue and Vickie; daughter and son-in-law, Annie B. Hodges and Palmer; brother, Archie H. Perdue; sister, Ola Overstreet; two grandchildren, Kenneth W. Maxey and Sherry A. Ingram; three great-grandchildren, Hunter B. Ingram, Jr., Peyton K. Ingram, Kenneth C. Maxey. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. David Smith and Rev. Belle Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Board Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
