Charlotte Ann Hiler, Ret. Lt. Col. USAF, age 76 of Moneta, VA., passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008.
She was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church of Rocky Mount, VA. and retired USAF Nurse Corps of 20 years service, serving in many state side duty assignments and one overseas assignment to Portugal. A graduate of William Byrd High School, Vinton, Va. and graduate of Wilford Hall USAF Hospital Anesthesia School, San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth O. and Eddie W. Hiler; brother, Bobby R. Hiler all of Moneta, VA.
Ms. Hiler is survived by one niece and three nephews, Carolyn and Richard (Rick) Franklin, Waynesville, NC, Ray and Elaine Hiler, Seneca, SC, William (Bill) Hiler of Roanoke, VA, Kevin and Mary Hiler, Cape Girardeau, MO; several great nieces and great nephews; sister-in-law, Elizabeth P. (Libby) Hiler of Waynesville, NC; and many close friends of Roanoke and the local area of Moneta.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. J. Larry Holland officiating. A graveside service will be conducted from Evergreen Burial Park (Roanoke) 2 p.m. Saturday.

Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
