Charlotte Faye Meeks Gentry

Charlotte Faye Meeks Gentry age 73 of Franklin County went peacefully to the Lord surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Charles Gentry; mother, Mildred Hodges; grandmother, Onie Willie; several aunt, uncles and cousins. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother and Nana. She loved life to the fullest, she enjoyed nature, arts and crafts, flowers and singing gospel songs, but most of all she loved her family. Left to celebrate her life are her daughters, Cynthia Altice Hyler and husband Harold, Sonja Altice Hyler and husband Keith; four grandchildren Travis Hyler (Sarah), Ailsa Hyler, Jessica Altice and Brittany Hyler. Thank you goes out to Avante of Roanoke and Medi Home Hospice. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2017. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
