Charlotte J. Wilkinson

Charlotte J. Wilkinson, age 81 of Rocky Mount and formerly of Spotsylvania County passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, February 3, 2020. Mrs. Wilkinson was born in Richmond, VA to the late Pierce F. and Virginia Brown Jenkins. She had worked for BJ’s and Sheetz in Fredericksburg in later years but her most important and demanding job was being a loving and supportive “mom”, “gramma” and “great-grammie” not only to her kids but to their friends. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dickie Jenkins; and her husband of 57 years, Larry. Survivors include her daughter, Ginny Gilligham; sons, Chuck and Jon Wilkinson; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Services will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount, VA.
