Charlotte Ann Yopp

Charlotte Underwood Yopp, age 67 of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 11, 2015. She attended Highland United Methodist Church and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, William Robert Underwood; son, James Walter "Jimmy" Yopp and sister, Gwendola McPherson. Surviving are her husband, Roy Junior Yopp; sons, Dale Yopp (Michelle), Mike Yopp (Tammy); her mother, Lucille Underwood; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin Underwood and Doug Underwood; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Elizabeth Whittaker. Funeral services will be conducted at Highland United Methodist Church, 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Jason Bryant and Rev. Bill Pagen officiating. Interment will follow in the Yopp Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Highland United Methodist Church. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
