Chloris "Cisro" Aubrey Perdue

Chloris “Cisro” Aubrey Perdue, age 87 of Glade Hill passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Vivian Perdue; infant daughter, Patsy Gale Perdue; brothers, Darrell Perdue, Orval Perdue and Carroll Perdue. Surviving to cherish his memory are his two children, David (Kathi) Perdue, Wanda (Ricky) Law; grandchildren, Tony (Jessie) Perdue, Ronnie Perdue, Lyndsi (Dan) Barr, Kari Faith Perdue, Patrick Law, Drew (Kaitlyn) Law; great-grandchildren, Morgan Perdue, Joni Perdue, Jacob Barr, Levi Barr and William Law; brothers, Wendell Perdue and Garry Perdue; along with many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Cisro was a carpenter his whole life and also enjoyed bluegrass music, playing many instruments especially the banjo. He loved the sport of NASCAR, but more importantly, he loved his family over everything else. Cisro was a member of Redwood United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Redwood United Methodist Church Building Fund. Funeral services will be held at Redwood United Methodist Church, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 with Pastor Sarah Payne officiating. Interment will follow in High Street Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
