Christi Constable Cooper

Christi Constable Cooper, 54, was a truly special mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She gained her angel wings on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  Christi was born on May 22, 1968 in Roanoke, VA to adoring parents, Don and Jeaniene Constable and became the doted-on baby sister of Scott and Brian. She was a proud graduate of Franklin County High School where she had too many friends to count. Christi’s most cherished role was “Mom”. Christi raised her sons, William and Benjamin, with love and devotion in Charlotte, NC. Most recently, Christi has been living with her dearest friends, Blair and Ella Rhodes in Lynchburg, VA. No matter where she lived, she always remained strongly connected to her roots in Smith Mountain Lake, VA.

Christi lit up any room she entered and touched the lives of so many people with her thoughtfulness, compassion, and generosity. She loved her friends and family, and filled her surroundings with beauty and warmth. Christi will be most remembered for her dedication to her sons, the loves of her life.

Christi is survived by her sons, William and Benjamin Cooper; parents, Don and Jeanienne Constable; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Tami Constable; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Dana Constable; nephews and nieces, Amber Constable, Christian, Owen, and Violet Constable; and treasured friends, Blair and Ella Rhodes and JP O’Connor.

Visitation will be held at Flora Funeral Service in Rocky Mount, VA from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Christi’s kind and giving spirit will be missed by many. Thinking of others as always, she left us with these words:
