Christine Chitwood Hall

Christine Chitwood Hall, age 80 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, February 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Hall; parents, Jim Ed and Lethia Chitwood; brothers, James Edward, Jr. (Peanut) and Jesse Chitwood; sister, Lorene Nolen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie Altice, Buford Hall, Naomi and Phillip Prillaman. Surviving are her sons, Ronnie Hall and friend Gladys McPherson, Gary and Bonnie Hall; grandchildren, Ashley and Sean Lawson, Katie Hall; sisters, Ruby Brown, Nellie and Jennings Adkins, Frances McGhee; sisters-in-law, Corene Young, Elizabeth Hartman; special friends, Elmer Harrison, Connie Corn and Bentley Hodges; numerous nieces, nephews and friends at Tanyard Village. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. J.D. Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
