Christine Scott Law

Christine Scott Law, age 74 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, April 13, 2013. She was born November 6, 1938 a daughter of the late Christopher Columbus (Lum) and Arbet Scott. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Law Hodges; three brothers, Claude Scott, Guy Scott and Charlie Scott; and two sisters, Mary Belle Hall and Odette Green. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Amos Law; two sons, Henry Law (Jenni), Ricky Law (Wanda); eight grandchildren, Rochelle Law, Lorinda Gibbs (Sy), Patrick Law (Amanda), Drew Law, Danielle Young, Cameron Law, Austin Law, Kash Law; four great-grandchildren, Avery Vining, Stone Gibbs, Steele Gibbs, William Law; one brother, Junior Scott (Doris); two sisters, Lillian Davis and Jearline Lynch (Wilbert); many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Roger Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
