Christine Maude Mason Maxey
Christine Maude Mason Maxey age 82 of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday July 19, 2009 from respiratory illness. She was a resident of Tanyard Village, a member of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church and retired from Stanley Furniture. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Marvin Mason and Lessie Shoemaker Mason, and former husband Wilton Lloyd Maxey. Mrs. Maxey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Lynn Maxey, a daughter and son-in-law Carla M. and Bob Thompson, grandchildren Randy and Katie Thompson, Amanda and Dwayne Martin and children. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will be receiving friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount. wwwflorafuneralservice.com
