Claude Edward Keller, age 69 of Henry, died Sunday, April 12, 2009.
He retired from Tultex in Martinsville and was a dedicated U.S. Air Force Veteran for 21 years serving in the United States as well as Thailand and Iceland.
Mr. Keller was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Justice Keller; son, Richard Wayne Keller; parents, Rodney James and Roxie Elizabeth Heatherington Keller; and special cousin, Lester Lee Labrie.
Surviving are his children, Tommy E. Keller and wife Cindy of Henry, Rodney James “Jay-Jay” Keller and wife Gailya of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Gregory Keller, Kimberly Keller, Cal Keller; siblings, Larry Keller of Fork Mountain, Faye Angle and husband Harold of Boones Mill, Lynn Wood of Rocky Mount, Marsha Sigmon of Glade Hill, Sally Martin and husband Barry of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted from Henry Memorial Park 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Keith Reynolds officiating.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday with his family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount and other times at the home.
