Clyde Wood Bowman

Clyde Wood Bowman, age 95 of Boones Mill died Thursday, May 26, 2022. She was born January 6, 1927 a daughter of the late Daniel Jacob Flora and Stella Peters Flora. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Wood; and son, Michael Wood. Mrs. Bowman was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Church of the Brethren where she was organist for 50 years. She was very creative and artistic and many people were the recipients of her talent. Surviving are her husband, Carl Bowman; son, Ronnie Wood (Sue Smith); daughter-in-law, Amy Wood; grandchildren, Ashley Clark (Ryan), Lauren Wood, Trevor Jones, Hannah Hostutler (Matthew), Keaton Wood, Sophie Wood; two great-grandchildren, Whitney and Emmalyn Clark; sisters, Mabel Angell, Jewell Bowman; and brother, Earl Flora (Janet). Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Church of the Brethren with Rev. Horace Light officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
