Colin Vincent Singer

Colin Vincent Singer, age 69 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 following a long battle with brain cancer. He was an ex-special Ops Sniper and an executive with AT&T. He was a District Deputy and past Grand Knight with Knights of Columbus, past president of Franklin County Community Chorus, and active in many charities too numerous to list. Colin was also a devoted Catholic and Parishioner at Francis of Assisi. Surviving are his wife, Paula Jane Singer; three children by his late wife, Patricia Mae Singer are Michael, Eric, and Carolyn; grandchildren, Jani, Kira and Jase; step-sons, James and Jeff; daughter, Mary Rose; brothers, Bruce, Michael and James; and sister, Pam. Mass of Resurrection will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Mark White officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Catholic Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
