Cora Hodges, age 94 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, January 29, 2014. She was born March 18, 1919 a daughter of the late Sam Henry and Betty Tosh Smith and was also preceded in death by her husband Bennie Hodges. Surviving are her brother, Jewell B. Smith; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
