Corina Peters Wagoner, age 71 of Rocky Mount, took her final journey to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21, 2008.
Preceding her on this glorious journey was her husband, Silas Lee Wagoner; and parents, Leland “Doc” and Cora Hale Peters.
Leaving behind to honor her life are two daughters, Clara and Mark Johnson, Tammy Furrow and Roy Lynch, III; one very special grandson, Cody Lee Furrow; four step-grandchildren, April, Kimberly, Kimmie, and Roy IV, three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Lolene and Monroe Housman, Vieva Dickerson, Roxie and Jesse Nichols, Goldie and Phillip Suite, Judy and Kenneth Peters; sister-in-law, Betty Johnson; brother-in-law, Jesse and Betty Wagoner; numerous nieces and cousins; two special friends, Brad Draper and Mark Witt.
The family would like to give a loving thanks to the special staff and friends at Franklin Memorial Hospital and Trinity Mission.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 with Pastor Terry Covey officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Her family will be receiving friends at Flora Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and other times at the home of Clara Johnson.
