Cornealous R. George, age 89 of Penhook died Monday, September 7, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Leland George; sons, Robert and Billy George; daughter, Julian George; grandchildren, Mike and Patsy George; and daughters-in-law, Brenda and Lara Ann George.
Surviving are her sons, Leland George of Martinsville, Carroll and Mesa George of Penhook, Phillip George of Penhook; daughters, Gayle and Carlton Turner of Penhook, Marsha Dent of Rocky Mount, Joann and Tommy English of Axton; daughters-in-law, Sue George of Glade Hill, Zelma George of Bassett; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Mike Gallimore officiating. Interment will follow in the George Family Cemetery.
Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren.
