Dale Goodwin Nichols

Dale Goodwin Nichols, age 63 of Callaway passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mary Nichols; and son, Chad Nichols. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Marilyn Hodges Nichols; children, Michael Dale (Harley) and Torrie, Angela Taylor and Donnie, John Nichols; very special grandchildren, Elizabeth Hodges, Travis and Ethan Taylor, Breanna Maish; five sisters, Betty Dixon, Mary Ann and Butch Martin, Bonnie and Luck Shelton, Donna and Mike Grantham, Mona and Bobby Hodges; brother, Billy and Barbara Nichols; numerous nieces and nephews including special nephew, Johnny Amburgey; two brothers-in-law, Ricky and Darlene Hodges, Tim and Tiffany Hodges; sister-in-law, Darnell Brown and Timmy Hogan. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Fellowship Church with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Nichols Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
