Dalphine J. Swanson, age 93 of Redwood passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford Swanson; parents, Herbert and Ruth Jones; brothers, Adron Jones and wife Polly, Wincel Jones, Eugene Jones; son-in-law, Allen Hall; and great-grandson, Josiah Hall. Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Pam Hall, Wanda and Bobby Housman; son and daughter-in-law, Doyle and Pat Swanson; grandchildren, Kim Beckner (Al), Kendall Hall (Debbie), Joel Housman (Steffanie), Christa Swanson (Josh); great-grandchildren, Shana Clemons (Tim), Ruby Grace Hall, Tucker Hall, Gabriel Swanson, Henry Housman; great-great-grandchild, Briar Rose Clemons; brother, L.H. Jones (Hazel); sister-in-law, Charlene Jones; along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
