Dalton Roosevelt Forbes

Dalton Roosevelt Forbes, age 79 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, November 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Jones Forbes. Dalton was retired from Lane Furniture Company. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Robertson Forbes; sisters-in-law, Louise Hammock and Betty Jean Young; brother-in-law, Aubrey Robertson. Memorial services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
