Daniel John Krupp

Daniel John Krupp, 85, of Moneta, Virginia died on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Runk & Pratt. He was born August 13, 1933 in Monticello, New York, son of the late Leonard and Emma Krupp. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Pam Krupp; two daughters, Lori Krupp Suon and husband Dave (Chad, Kyle & Rylee); Melissa Krupp Bohmer and husband Brad (Chris, Justin & Jeremy); brother, Richard Krupp; 9 great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. Dan was a race car owner and enjoyed racing at various race tracks.   His entire family spent many hours in the pits at local racetracks cheering on Dan’s cars. He was also a Korean War Veteran who served in the US Navy. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent many years working for various HVAC companies including Carrier in Syracuse, NY. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Moneta, Virginia by Rev. David Lord and Rev. Susan Hughes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stepping Stone Mission, 1105 North Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 or Franklin County Humane Society, Planned Pethood Clinic and Adoption Center, P.O.
