Daniel Sherman Nichols

Daniel Sherman Nichols, age 66 of Ferrum passed away Thursday March 5, 2015. He was retired from the Ferrum College Staff. He was preceded in death by his parents; Sherman and Geneva Hodges Nichols. Surviving are uncles, Fletcher, Paul and Harvey Nichols; aunt, Gladys Arrington, several cousins including, Susan Young, Ronnie Young, Becky Callahan and Judy Brown; special friends, Betty Hall and Hilda Smith. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Monte Vista Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
