Darnell Adams Cowan

Darnell Adams Cowan age 78, of Boones Mill, VA passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born on February 14, 1945 to Dewey and Mamie Adams in Worth, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Howard, and sisters Eva, June and Peggy.

She is survived by the love of her life Dwight Cowan; daughters, Rhonda Gomez and Courtney Cowan; grandchildren, Brandon Chitwood and Brittany Diaz; great-grandchildren, Delaney Diaz and Grayson Chitwood; brother, Gene and many nieces and nephews.

Darnell enjoyed a wonderful life spending time with her family and friends, shopping, traveling, and helping others.

Her family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
